Safety Comes 1st!

The following Safety Information applies to ALL ClubEasy.com houses. We treat student safety with the highest of priority within our homes, nothing is left to chance, uncertified or out of date.

At ClubEasy our prime concern is ensuring that all students have a comfortable and safe stay. To this end we have implemented a number of strategies shown below. These, of course, include all statutory requirements but we have taken our responsibilities a step further.

Students Safety Issues

All staff and contractors carry I.D. cards

All ClubEasy staff and contractors are security checked and carry I.D. cards when visiting ClubEasy student properties. If you are at all unsure of the credentials of someone visiting your house, please request to see their I.D. card - all ClubEasy staff and contractors will be happy to show it.

Smoke Alarms in all of our Student Housing

All smoke and fire alarms are tested annually for both electrical safety and correct operation. This ensures that in the unfortunate event of a fire, you can rely on the equipment working properly.

Electrical Safety in all our Student Housing

ClubEasy.com provides a NICEIC Certificate for electrical wiring. This ensures that all wiring in ClubEasy.com properties conforms to the latest safety standards.

Gas Safety in all our Student Housing

ClubEasy.com is a CORGI registered gas installer, as part of the APS Property Group and all of our gas appliances are serviced and tested for safe and efficient operation annually. Tenants can view a current CORGI safety certificate at any time of their stay with us.

24 hr Emergency Helpline

With one of partners, First-Call-Communications, we provide a 24 hr Emergency Helpline. First Call was set up primarily to deal with emergency call outs for Doctors and Dentists. As such they are used to dealing with stressful situations and identifying what is an emergency and what is not we describe an emergency as anything potentially harmful to the student and/or the property. In an emergency First Call will contact the engineer on call in that particular city who will attend and get help if required.

If you manage to lock yourself out, the engineer will attend. However for that there is a £30 call out charge. This goes directly the poor guy who gets out of bed at 3.00am to let you in. Basically, we are saying "don’t lock yourself out", but if you do, we won’t leave you stranded.

Burglar Alarms

Theft in student houses is a problem nationwide. At Clubeasy.com we fit burglar alarms as standard to all of our houses. Our student liaison officers are always there to help in any unfortunate incident that occurs and our 24 hour emergency response team is just a phone call away.
