How can I pay for my gas and electric?
At the time of signing for your house your group will choose Option 1 or Option 2. If you choose option one you will be given two payment schedules, one for your rent and one for the estimated utility.  You can also pay the estimated utility cost upfront for whole year or over 10 instalments. This will be taken by direct debit.

Can we swap to Easyoption 2 during the contract ?
Once a package option has been chosen and receipts issued the package cannot be changed

You are liable for utility payments from when the contract starts until it ends.

My house has some draft coming through the windows / doors, Is this fair?
All of our houses have an Energy Efficiency Certificate which is available on request. This shows the energy efficiency of your home. Nearly all of our properties have double glazing however some don’t as the local Council refused permission or the house is in a conservation area and double glazing is not allowed. A house should not be completely air tight as it would be unhealthy if no air was circulating in your home.

If I spend over the prepaid amount will my utilities be disconnected?
No we will increase your payments the next month to take overspend into account.

One of our housemates has left the contract and Club easy has found a replacement. What happens now?
Clubeasy will take the utility share of the person that has left. The student that has replaced your housemate is on the Easyoption 2 package.

If I am owed a refund when will I get it?
Once final bills are received we will calculate your final utility consumption. Should you be in debit we will collect the final utility bill by way of direct debit. Should you be in credit you will receive a refund by way of bank transfer within six weeks of the end of contract.

How will I know during the year our utility consumption?
Each Semester we will send you a statement with your Electric and Gas usage at your home along with the payments you have made by direct debit. Should you be in credit we will reduce the amount we take for your Utility the following months.  Should you be in debit we will increase the amount of Utility we take.

What happens if the electricity / gas prices change during my tenancy?
We monitor our supplier throughout the year to get the best possible prices however we do not set the costs and the unit price may fluctuate.
